Privacy notice

This notice covers this website only. Merchant accounts, underwriting and transaction processing are covered by the merchant agreement and the privacy terms issued at onboarding.

What we collect

When you send the application form, we store what you typed: company name, website, your name, work email, phone, what you sell, your monthly volume, current processor, chargeback ratio, the countries you sell to, and your notes. We also store the browser identifier your device sends (the user agent) and the country your request came from, for spam triage. We do not store your IP address.

We do not set cookies, and we do not run analytics or any third-party scripts on this website.

Why we collect it

To evaluate your application, contact you about it, and, if you proceed, prepare it for the processors we take it to. That is the only purpose.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Applications are stored in our own customer database, hosted by Supabase, and are visible only to the Sequence Payments team. The website itself is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy policy.

Who we share it with

If you proceed with an application, the information needed for underwriting is shared with the partner processors and sponsoring banks we take your application to. We do not sell application data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Applications are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If you become a merchant, the merchant agreement's retention terms apply instead.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Until a dedicated privacy mailbox is published here, send the request through the application form with "privacy request" in the notes and we will reply by email. Nothing in that request is used for marketing.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how application data is used will be announced on this page before they take effect.
